A personal story

In a bit to build backlinks fast, I paid someone on fiverr to do it for me. Which he fulfilled the deal in less than 24 hours with over 200 backlinks.

Instead of seeing an increase in my search engine rankings, it dropped.

Why? Later I found out that some of the backlinks are from harmful sites which the search engines have blacklisted and others bots. In other words, the links are from low-quality websites.

Writing content should have one thing in mind and that’s purpose.

What’s the problem your content is addressing? Who is the content meant for? Addressing that will make your content have a purpose.

Content without purpose will only be another fruitless effort. This is because you will only waste your time, energy and negatively affect your brand which makes people shy away from your business.

When using images, you’ll need to use the profession and free for commercial use. Let the image captivates and readers willing to share the content to give it more eyeballs.

This has been proven in another study by backlinko and clickstream in 2016 that shows that

Longer content=better rankings
